

Despite my Ps5 controller being recognized, dolphin wouldn't detect the input for some reason.

Thank you! This worked for me and I was able to use a controller on my M1 Mac Mini with Big Sur. The only Game Cube emulator for Mac is Gcube, possibly a good one but is not at all compatible with my computer (well, actually, it's an uncompiled program and its compilers do not work on my computer.) The macOS Big Sur was recognizing the remote.It was Dolphin that was unable to capture the buttons until I mapped it TLDR Steam would recognize the PowerA wireless, and wired GameCube remotes, all steam games would work that supported a controller. T his gave me a work around controller support.
